Park Shelter Rentals
Rent a Park Shelter for your Special Event
Little Canada’s shelters provide a great location for a family event you may be planning such as a picnic, reunion, reception, or graduation party.
Reservations give park guests exclusive use of the facility stated on the permit for the duration noted on the permit. Reservations are for the current year only.
- 2023 Reservations begin:
February 1st for Residents of Little Canada
April 1st for Non-Residents - Facilities are typically available from May 15 to October 15.
- Rental hours available are 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
How to Reserve a Shelter
To check date availability or to reserve a shelter, use the online reservation system. Any questions can be handled by emailing us or calling us at 651-766-4029.
We currently only offer one rental per day for each facility.
During the reservation process, you will be required to list the START time and END time that you will be using the facility.

Cancelation/Refund Policy
Shelter renters may cancel the facility rental permit agreement by giving written notice to the City. If notice is received by the City forty-five (45) or more days prior to the date of use, the rental and damage deposit fees paid to the City shall be refunded less a $10.00 administration fee. No refunds or credits will be given for shelter reservations canceled less than forty-five (45) days in advance. We will work with you to select an alternate date for your special event. There is a $25.00 administration fee to change the date.
Please Note
These facilities are popular and it is recommended that you make a reservation well in advance of your event.
Reservations will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Ramsey County Sheriff or City Staff will stop by your event to check on facility use compliance.
