Each year the City's budgeting process begins in late summer. City Council workshops are held throughout the fall with a preliminary budget and levy being established by September 30 for each year, and the final levy is certified by the City Council in December.
A presentation and public hearing are held at the December City Council meeting. Public input is welcome at the meeting. Anyone having questions, comments or concerns is urged to attend this meeting.

The City of Little Canada utilizes a Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) to schedule proposed public improvements and purchases over a ten-year period. Significant purchases and improvements beyond five years are included when the project and costs have been identified. The Plan matches proposed expenditures and revenues by projects.
